Changing or Deleting greeting message for Bcd996p2 or bcd536hp??

my scanners have the prvious owners name and information on start up before the uniden info. Any way to remove this please? cant find this information anywhere

On the BCD536HP you edit the Profile in Sentinel.

On the BCD996P2 you can use ProScan, ARC-XT or FreeScan and edit that info.

I got a BCD536HP from a friend and his owner Info is still on the start-up screen. How do I change this to my info? TIA

I have this message loaded in both of my scanners done by FreeScan:

on 'her' bcd396XT the wife put our name and address in.
might want to add a good longstanding phone number.
don't use a SS number.
with my 369T and no computer, i set up a system with my name.
just so i could ID it if found.
the joke with the kids was i would leave a kid behind before i forgot a radio...!

In ProScan, the opening message location depends on the size of the window. Opening message is always after Unused Memory. Increasing the width will show like this.
