Does anyone know of a charge controller or battery charger that accepts multiple types of inputs? For example a charger that can handle 12-18v input from say a solar panel or if 120v generator or grid electricity to charge a 12v Deep Cycle SLA Battery?

Most of them will have a max current rating for the solar panel input. If you have say a 10A solar charger and you connect it to a higher current power supply on the panel side and the batteries are low you can easily run the solar charger beyond its design limits.
