RRdB reference link: Charlotte County Trunking System, Various, Florida

Hi all,

Does anyone have more TG information on the Charlotte County system? dB hasn't been updated since July of this year. I know there is an LE feed on Broadcastify that has a few monitored talkgroups that are not on the dB.. (such as PGPD dispatch ch 2). And from my understanding, Charlotte Co. doesn't want to give up a list of talkgroups via FOIA.

(Also, is this actually a Harris system? I see that all of their deputies carry Motorolas..)

A few weeks back I was picking up this system in polk county. I'll have to look at my laptop see what it shows.

Batdude, Did you ever verify the IDEN Band Plan for Charlotte County? You said there were a couple of different ones. Just trying to program the right base plan for the Harris system into my Harris P7300. TIA

i cannot routinely hear that system... too far away.

A month ago I did get this same info when bands were opened up.

Very interesting information. It looks like the 30X tacs for CCSO are in use a lot more than the standard 2 digit tac channels that are listed. Also what is Dial-A-Ride?

Another note:
2601a29DPG PD DispPolice DispatchLaw Dispatch

Seeing from these TGIDs, it seems that PGPD and PGFD have only 2 talkgroups? They both jump from 01 to 05 for both depts. Assuming ID 2605 is potentially the dispatch 2 for PD like the feeds? I wonder if there are any in between 🤔 or if they jump up to 10, then 15, then 20 🤔

Dial a Ride is usually handicapped special public transport buses.

How do I get bandplans for other systems? I am trying to get one for Naples and Hendry county.

Unitrunker is free does edacs and p25 only. Not sure if Unitrunker has a Version 2 download also need a dongle to run unitrunker and 2 dongles for dsdplus. DSDPlus isn't free.
Here is a 1st version 2 for UT. UniTrunker V2

Oh... I don't have a dongle. Trying to find the bandplan for Naples for their system, but I can't find it on the RRdB. Was hoping batdude had something saved.

Okay copy that. If you have a scanner not sure if the bandplan would be set in there when RXing the system.

My money says they have their ZW/GW Clone Watch module up and running with triggers set waiting for that bogus affiliation or accidental PTT. Can we say "job security"?
