Also, I occasionally will hear a unit call into the base with a 17-Charlie. Then they will give an address.

Is this a code violation of some sort?

I believe a 17-Charlie is the marshals serving a warrant to that address. at least that what i get from listening. I think they shorten 10-17, and thats a Warrant 10 code. I could be wrong though =)
