Myself I use Win500 and I believe it cost $35 when I got it. I am sure someone will add what other software is available. Win500 is pretty easy to use for me and I highly recommend it.

Wirelessly posted (Moto Droid Bionic: Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 2.3.4; en-us; DROID BIONIC Build/5.5.1_84_DBN-74) AppleWebKit/533.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/533.1)

The big three are Win500, ARC500 and PSREdit. Lots of info in the Wiki and many other forum threads. Use 'Search' atop the page. While all program the radio, there are some differing capabilities including handling CSV data. HTH.

You would have if GRE honored the statement in the manual and on their web site that they would provide the protocol. Some of us professional/hobby programmers would like to write some.
