There is no specific control channel identified in the database for the Coweta site at this time. The active CC this past Sunday when I left the area was 771.08125.

Brian - that's the same control channel as the one that was active on 9/7/11 when I posted (see above) right after Labor Day. Should be safe to show now in the RR Database (b7spectra).

Does anyone have any more updates for the Coweta Co. 700 MHz. Site.
The freq. 771.08125 is now listed as the control channel.
Anyone have decoding software to monotor the system.
It should give you all the info for that site and any adjacecent sites.
R/R has the site number as 010 A. Is that the correct site no?
It may be site 102.

I live in Coweta County and am getting zero reception of this TRS at my house.
This is with a Home Patrol and the 396XT.
I have switched out between the RS 800 rubber duckies, a 800 MHZ yagi that is in the attic, a mag-mount Spectra I have on a large pie tin for a groundplane, and Watson W-889, and about 5 more various antennas including telescoping and 800 Mhz specific.
This is highly disappointing considering that this TRS is the future of my areas PS system.

I have yet to go mobile with either radio; but would never think I would have to!

Can pick up Fayette, Fulton, MARTA, Clayton, Carroll, Spalding, and the current Coweta coventional frequencies.
I've never had an issue receiving my home county's TRS before.
Then again, I've never lived in a county that's used a 700 Mhz system before...

BONUS - in what part of Coweta County do you live? It seems to me that if you can receive MARTA and Fayette, you should be able to receive the WARRS TRS (Coweta). Make sure you've programmed it for control channel ONLY, then only program the 771.08125 frequency. You might delete the system and re-program it. Make sure you program it as a "P25" trunked system, not just a regular trunked system.

Coweta 700 is LIVE

:)
This is your "on the scene reporter" parked in Newnan. 771.08125 Control Channel as noted by Mike - a.k.a. MetroFire

Driving through Monday morning, I heard an S.O. supervisor tell everyone that Coweta 911 was live and to use their new radios - especially hand helds. I presume that meant to verify coverage and report on problems.

It's after 10:30 on Wednesday morning. System sounds very good. My 996 is doing ok w/ the P-25.

TG 15501 - County Jail traffic
TG 15004 - Coweta Co Sheriff 911

TG 15002 - S.O. seeking time on alarm call. Just heard someone going 10-8 - not sure yet what this one is unless..... the S.O. is going to have two dispatch channels. Will advise further

TG15611 - Public Works traffic

Newnan PD is still working on their VHF - I don't know if they're set to make the switch too.

Got some work to do.... Back to it. I'll post more TG's that I save while in Newnan today.

Happy Scanning / Support your local gun ranges - and have a blast!
