For the last few weeks, I have only been watching the "Layer 1" site on CC 774.56875. With the exception of infrequent ENC traffic on TGs 30549 and 30550, little to nothing else. No voice detected since the grid testing early this month.
I'm seeing the same thing. Logged 58 hits starting today. Only a few of them show a UID, so they may be testing the coverage by patching to the Uhf dispatch frequency.Sounds like there is a possibly new patch from a Dallas Fire Rescue UHF channel to talk group 3 on existing Dallas 700 Mhz P25/COG site.
As far as I can tell talk groups 30000 to 34999(City Public Safety) on Layer 1, 35000+ on Layer 2(City Public Works and County).Does anyone know which layer Dallas PD Investigative talk groups Fugitive 1, (30549) & Fugitive 2 (30550) are on yet?
Just adding on, they also use that channel for department wide announcements that they want to broadcast through the station speakersWas anyone listening to 460.575MHz this morning? That’s DFR’s station alerting channel which has been down for a few days now (it goes down occasionally). A friend of mine was listening from Anna this morning and he heard 660 say something about citywide radios but it was scratchy.
Oh okay. Thanks. He might have heard wrong. We always joke that he has undiagnosed hearing issues haha.I listened to my station dispatch arcives for the past 6 hours and only 1 voice announcement noting presby was not taking patients. all mornings its been 4 to 5 second keys with no audio. with a few 21 second keys with no audio.
The announcement I heard was to make sure all their portable radios were accounted for but idk if there was another one that's the only one I heard that day. But it was over the fire response channel, I didn't monitor the 460.575 so not sure if they said it over both.A friend of mine was listening from Anna this morning and he heard 660 say something about citywide radios but it was scratchy.
