Is there a few days delay between when new data is posted to the database and when that new data shows up in the library for HP and Whistler users to put in their scanners?

From what I've seen, the updates for Whistler (only have Whistler so can't speak about Uniden) scanners is one to two weeks behind and only updated on Saturday.

Uniden database updates are available beginning around 9am Central Time every Monday (barring any server glitches). The Uniden servers begin pulling the current data from Radio Reference late on Sundays, so anything that's been added to the RR database in the previous week will be available when you request a database update through Sentinel on Monday.

I don't know about Whistler, but Uniden (HP) typically does a data pull over the weekend, so the most recent versions are available Monday. Thus there could be as much of a week delay from actual update time to when the data is available to users.

As always, RR premium subscribers have immediate access to updates using paid software like ARC or ProScan.
