Only person that knows is Uniden, contact Uniden Support, or wait till they post something about it.
RadioReference doesn’t have anything to do with the release of the update file to the Uniden users.

Sometimes you can just ping @JoeBearcat to look into why it's hung again.
Or maybe.....just be patient for a week or so. It's really not that big a deal.
I know that I only bother to update the database before an RV road trip. That's 2 or 3 times a year and you know for stuff at home, none of the systems in my favorites list has changed for YEARS!

Perhaps more so a big deal in terms of Uniden keeping with their tradition and commitment to its customers. But I can imagine why folks feel a little unnerved at not seeing a weekly update. As long as it is the exception rather than the rule, I think we are ok. When it becomes more frequent is really the time to be concerned.
That's fine updating every week. But please help me understand why it's a "big" deal? What do you think you might miss if you don't update every week? I am being serious trying to understand.

There is an issue with this week's update. The IT guys are aware and are working on it.

I don't usually do the weekly updates. I'll only download the updates if there is an update to my area or if I am planning on traveling which is few and far between.

My comment was responding to this:

Weekly Database updates are important to some of us, I travel to 4 areas regularly, and rely on these updates for business and personal information. That's part of the Uniden deal which was promised, and expected.
