Has the proposed new P25 for the county been put into operation yet?

Have the frequencies been released?

Thanks

Not sure if it has anything to do with it but this morning on some "countywide" frequencies I heard them doing a lot of testing. At one point I heard them mention something about if simulcast was making a noise, but I missed the meat of the conversation.

I've got the new TRS frequencies programmed in a FL on a few of my scanners, no control signal yet. What specific countywide frequencies were you hearing the testing on?

I'm not sure because the scanner is background noise where I can't readily see the freq. That said, what I have as 'county' on my scanner is the Sheriff, Command, & clean. I could see the flashing color on my Pro 197 it matches those I listed.

Click any one of the licenses in my quote you re-quotted. They're all listed there (same frequencies, different licenses) Nothing is online yet so therefore nothing can be submitted to the RRDB

Nope, just a spot check on a simulcast channel

I didn't know Delco was a simulcast system I guess that's what caught my attention. I thought simulcast was for a trunked system. I have been a scanner listener since they had crystals, don't know much about the how it works end.

New TRS indeed will be simulcast but I'm pretty sure the simulcast mentioned on air is regarding the 6-site simulcast DMR conventionals licensed to the county as a back up for when tropospheric ducting & other issues with the legacy T-band conventional system become an issue. See this posting for more info on that

462.9625 & 463.1625 both DMR conventional CC-8

Negative, there are quite a few simulcast channels currently in the county on the analog and those DMR frequencies you mentioned are not simulcast.

EDIT:

Wait , wrong quote response.

Yes, the NEW system will be simulcasted p25 phase 2 as already mentioned.

Currently there are a few simulcast channels on the analog system, one of which was being tested today.

Yes there is a DMR simulcast system for backup during tropo , but the expired license one you posted is not simulcast, but IPSC
