I'm sure he will update us when he can. It seems like things are changing constantly now.
So for the time being, it's coming in again at my house. Woohoo! That's a change since early yesterday.
I was listening to it from the Exton area yesterday. It actually came in quite well down the Turnpike until about King of Prussia. I actually think there the issue was cell site interference.
Interesting I find that my Unication and BK radio behave like consumer scanners with this system, likely due to the timing between sites not being synced yet. Sometimes in open areas that pull in good signals, the control channels goes Out of Range often. Both devices are far more sensitive to cell site interference on this system than any other system in the 770 range, even very distant ones.

RX has been spotty for me the past few days in Montco, there've been periods I've seen the signal bars but couldn't acquire the data link but now all seems well again

I'm in Prospect Park and was getting transmissions loud and clear up until Monday and nothing last 2 days with 996P2. Just got the SDS200 but haven't set it up yet.

For the next two or three weeks there will be a lot of sites coming online to verify connectivity then being turned back off again leaving only Lima online at the end of the day. Once timing and configs are finalized the sites will be permanently brought online.

I've lost 99% of the reception on my Whistler scanners and am receiving an RSSI of about -120dBm with D-Error of about 25 on my Uniden SDS200. Voice is garbled.

Sounds about right, until everything comes back up online.

I was at the firehouse yesterday with no service until about exactly 1300. Was the Lima tower offline?

I'm not speaking for Steve, but for those of you not in Delco, he's had to deal with the fallout of Crozer Health closing. They were the main EMS provider in the eastern part of the county.

Many new private EMS providers have been brought in to fill in the gap left by the Crozer closing. The communications and CAD pieces are quite huge.

Please see here:

I accepted an employment offer with another County as an in-house RF tech. I am no longer full time “Lead” on the Delco project through the sub contractor. I have kept a part time role with the previous so I will in and around here and there with it.
Good luck to you Keith! Hopefully, you'll still find time to hang out with us "Delco folks"...

Just for fun FWIW I was receiving CC data on the new system from New Holland in the area of Shady Maple complex. That's quite a good ways from Lima.

@stevecast2024 Question about the DMR conventional channels: Are these still going to be used as fallback once the P25 system migration is complete? Was wondering since they aren't documented in the RRDB if they'd be worth adding or if they'll be soon be deprecated & not to bother with the RRDB submission?
