DeSoto County moved?

I have had clients ask about DeSoto County, they appear to have moved off to a new system. Does anyone know where they may have moved to? They do not seem to be using the old Motorola system anymore.

i am in an area that can get them if the weather is right, so to speak.
i hate to think if they are on the state system.

as a guess they are phase 2, you/they might try 852.6875 as the control.

Is there a way to get Alt Cntrl Channels and info on site when you get better signal? Like DSDPlus or Unitrunker?

All of the frequencies on their two trunked licenses recently had P25 emission designators added to them. Start searching the following for a P25 control channel:

852.6875

i also live about 20 miles from the tower.
after a stroke, i don't get out much.
but the wife said we might get up there tomorrow.
she likes radio also and knows i like to help others.
the signal is really dependant on the weather.
even my county fades away at the county line to the east.
they are really getting to the "keep it in your county" stage.

thanks, but it has been 7 years and i think this is as good as i get.
it is a balance thing and i feel 2 beers high all the time, and i don't drink.
i did not have the one side thing happen, i just don't have a good up as i call it.

Desoto has joined the Polk/Hardee/Highlands regional system. No phase II.

talkgroups 6200 and 6203 are encrypted
6311 is for FD/EMS.
i was just closer and not it town yet.

They have gone to P25 II as of late last week according to my sources. The PD and SO are encrypted. The FD is still in the clear. Can I get this with a Home Patrol II?
