One sound not there is ADP encryption. However AES, DES can sound very similiar so not much of a loss for ADP sound. However when using a ADP software equipped radio and it is running in analog wide or narrow, you will hear a burst of squelch after the MDC tone on scanners or radios that cannot reverse burst it properly as it is the ADP causing this in analog mode. something like, Voice TXing=dekey=mdc tone=ADP squelch burst=PL tone reverse. I noticed when set to per channel basis and enabled by a button or switch it does the ADP burst in analog. Channels without the ADP enabled will sound normal in analog suc has Voice TXing=dekey=mdc tone=PL reverse. One thing to add about it is some find it annoying such as hams when using older radios. Even with mdc set to o decode on older radios youll still get the burst in analog RX and for sure if mdc is not set to decode itll always have the burst sound. New radios will reverse the ADP burst though there is normal loss of the reverse but ways to change settings to avoid it. I found in older HT1000s and CDMs you can void this ugly sound by changing some settings in the mdc settings. I havent tested other older radios though. Just thought Id add this though off track regarding the sounds.
