Is the new digital scanner hard to use? does it take awhile to learn how to litsen to apco25 i was intrested in buying one please let me know thanks alot

I have the Pro96 and found it very easy to use with the preloaded vFolder programing. But I would not try to program anything else without using WIN96 from Starrsoft. It makes it very easy toload systems like Randolph Air Force Base digital. Gill

WIN96 was written by Don Starr and is available for download from
www.starrsoft.com The download is a free demo good for I think 10 days and then if you want to keep using it send him $30.00. It is a great piece of software and even permits you open up the frequncy coverage so you can receive military air in the 225 to 400 MHz range. There is a lot of that traffic around here. You will also need the correct serial cable and that is covered on the starrsoft site also. gill

Thanks alot but what happens if you dont get the program can you still use the digital scanner
