Digital TV hits Cache County

Tomorrow, Saturday, August 30, 2008, marks the end of analog TV in the Cache County area. At 12 o'clock, noon, they will throw the switch and all analog TV will disappear. All new TVs have digital converters in them, and if consumers receive their TV through cable or satellite, they will not need to worry. However, those receiving TV over rabbit-ears or roof-top antennas, will need a converter box.

This is a precursor to the national switch on February 17, 2009. Rebanding is hitting everyone.

Funny in that, it said, it caught some folks off guard too...C'mon gimme a break, the news has been out there for how long now....and ya know damn well there'll still be people out there *****ing about it.

I'm on Satellite myself and in Canada, so I don't have to worry about it, but still, ya just know that there'll still be people *****ing about it.

Either which way I look at it this way, for the average customer that is still receiving tv signals over the air get into the new age...like seriously...and for the rest....well, they won't have to worry about the signal fading in and out and lines across the screen an all that crap.

Get used to it, cause it ain't gonna change and that's how it is....

For the hobbyiest out there though...it'll be a new way of catching new signals..
