The disconnect fix problem threads seems to go back quite some time.
Considering that most 'Threaders?' seem to be 'PREMIUM' level subscribers, so why no fix yet?
Could the folks who wrote the software for the APP take a gander at it, please?
Maybe something as simple as a loop that activates when the app stops streaming. The loop checks to see if the USER touched the 'STOP' square or not. If 'YES', it stays disconnected. If 'NO', it reconnects the last used stream automatically.
The APP still runs after the stream drops out until the 'USER' physically closes it, so why can't the app restart the stream?
NOTE:
I noticed this problem on both of my Android phones, both Samsungs, one a Galaxy Core, the present one a Galaxy S9+. It happens regardless of the phone running on battery or if the charging cable is connected and charging.
This problem ONLY occurs, at least for me, on the Smart Phone APP, but NOT on the LIVE FEED buttons from the RR.com site on my desktop computer. My computer stays rock solid, but the phone drops the stream, all the time. Since they BOTH are on the same wireless router at home, and both stream Verizon content and Amazon Prime A/V content without disconnecting, it is NOT a bad cable or loose connector problem. It HAS to be something flakey in the APP software. Does this problem also occur with Apple I- phones?
