New to Ham and DMR. Looking for help programming an MD-380. I live in the NOVA area.

DMR code plug

Download a sample codeplug, open it in the CPS, and look at the various fields. This should help you get an idea of what you are going to create. Using another person's code plug is ok, but if you need to make changes or add anything, you need to understand the actual programming. There are videos on Youtube that will also help you get started.

Thank you. I have downloaded the MD-380 program and placed two local repeater in the radio. I tried keying up and the radio just beeps back. I can hear people on the radio, but can’t transmit.

I will check YouTube to see if I did something wrong.
