HP-2: DMR Update for HP2

The radio industry does not publicize sales or market share figures, so we would not know this for sure, but maybe the HP-style of scanner is not selling well enough compared to traditional form factors for an HP-3 to even be on the drawing board.

Except for the fact that Paul O has stated it's the largest selling scanner they ever had (to paraphrase). Not sure if that was after the release of the x series.

So now, 10 months later...

Still no DMR, ProVoice or NXDN. And no HP 3.

Will it happen? When?

Just saw this on the Uniden web site:

And they have done so. The 325P2 and 996P2 can be upgraded to DMR.

I have upgraded all of my BCD 996P2 scanners to DMR and they work very well
