How do I restore previous configuration from an archive file and then import it into my scanner? I have the Whistler 1080 and while updating the firmware I accidentally erased all the systems, scan lists and now everything is empty. Any help is greatly appreciated. thanks

Is no one else experiencing the issue I'm having? You hold on a DMR channel and it goes completely silent?

I've been holding on a TG (wildcard) on a DMR trunked system for about an hour now and I'm still hearing traffic.

I haven't tried it with a trunked system but it's 100% not working for me on conventional DMR channels.

Spectrum Sweeper seems to be unable to lock on to a nearby DMR transmission (or has trouble). I'm wondering if this is going to be addressed in a future update? Doing a normal limit search however seems ok.

Can you also program it as trunked (or use the pre-yesterday trunked system programmed version) to monitor? It would be interesting to see if there is a difference between the two methods.

A thread or webpage about all of the workarounds for the scanner and software would probably be useful.

Due to the nature of TDMA this is unavoidable. Unidens Close Call behaves the same way.

Keep in mind that Spectrum Sweeper will only stop on strong, nearby signals. It's not intended as a replacement for "Search".

Crappy cell phone pic, but you get the idea...

New versions of the PC apps and CPU firmware are available.

PC App v2.10
• Fixed issue where performing an import of conventional objects would set the squelch values to search mode. This would also cause existing conventional objects that were selected for import from the library to have their squelch values set to search mode.

• Fixed issue where the default dwell time was not displayed when a trunked system was changed from a specific value back to the default value.

CPU firmware 3.5 (handheld) / 2.5 (base/mobile)
• DMR: Fixed problem pausing/holding on CONV object
