I have put together a Rpi5, 10" touchscreen with speakers, and two Nooelec v5 RTL-SDR's.

I want to use DSDPlus (latest public release) with this setup. I installed Wine on the Pi and can get the DSD to run but the RTL-SDR's are not recognized. I have screwed around for a few hours with this and am lost. This is all new to me. I know my setup works find on a Windows machine. Can someone help me? I looked on these forums and am stumped.

Never ran DSDPlus on Pi or Linux, but, did you purge and install new librtlsdr drivers? And black list the default drivers?

Does GQRX see and let you use the dongle?

Non-definitive answer:

It’s been a while since I attempted something like this and gave up, deciding to use OP-25 instead since that works well with linux. That is, I have a pi with a touchscreen and 2 rtl dongles and it trunk tracks fine with Op-25. Using USB devices under emulators tends to be very difficult and for example, it seems wine does not support doing this natively for windows drivers.

Yes, GQRX sees the dongles.

Does OP-25 support display radio aliases (Group Services)/"Talker Alias"?

I think it's how WINE can't see USB devices as COM ports

Yes it does (multi_rx.py)
You defined the aliases in the "rid_tags_file" configuration parameter
Just for clarification, I know OP25 can display predefined radio aliases, but can it decode OTA aliases?
