Listening to a DMR System that Wood County Sheriff and Bowling Green Police switched to....now
on the Bowling Green Channel..just got a data burst..screen says all data...so I assume no voice was with it at that time...
decoding seems to work alot better with lower sample rates ,
i keep mine around .900001 MSPS - .25 on weaker distant signals .
look at your wave form window of dsdplus make sure its in a happy state of
mid levels no peaking - not to quiet - and right in the middle of the window
gear symbol up top that opens the controller options ,
where you can adjust rf gain and agc ,
adjust the sample rate lower
older slower systems might not be able to process higher rates
in a efficient enough manner to decode the audio without errors
on the sdr# plugin if you select "mute this frequency" it will kill the audio noise your hearing but will still pass audio to dsd+,
( it basically just sets sdr# to mute every time your on that selected freq )
& it will save that frequency info in a digital_frequencies.xml file for future muting,
next :
open up your volume mixer on windows and double check that dsd + volume level is turned up.
and also you can turn down the volume for the virtual audio
( just check and make sure it doesnt effect the levels that dsd+ is hearing )
ok little hind sight here , since i know your using the plugin now ,
make sure that sdr# is set for audio output to your speakers and not to virtual audio
incase you might be double feeding same audio into dsdplus 2x
