Can someone with more knowledge than me maybe help me with this, this is a problem that i have noticed for awhile now and i can't figure out what is going on i have tried searching it on google and i'm stumped I have all these frequencies popping up every where and they pop up really fast and disappear when i stop on them and catch them i hear a few words get spoken u can hear it in the first part of this Video

They all says IDAS one is IDAS Site:1.1-2 NL:1 4 5 6 Two Way Radio Service and here is some other info i seen
1.1-2 neighbor: site 1.1-4
1.1-2 neighbor: site 1.1-5
1.1-2 neighbor: site 1.1-6
1.1-2 neighbor: site 1.1-1
why are these poppin up and why are there so many an why can't i figure out who it is because the freqs don't last long enough to do any real investigation. I feel like i'm missing something and if i could figure out how to follow these i could hear more because every one of those freqs u see poppin up if i catch one i can hear a few words being said. Thanks

I believe you are playing whack-a-mole trying to chase the frequencies in dsd+. Once you catch a frequency, stay there. Don't try to tune to another frequency so quickly. Stay on one frequency until you are able to get a feel for what it is. Wait for more transmissions on that frequency - then wait some more - and wait some more. Write down your observations.

I am not sure you are tuned to the center frequency. If you are off frequency, you can get erratic results. I suggest that you enable the Zoom Spectrum Overlay in FMP. This is the green plot which is a zoomed in view of the frequency you are tuned to. (This is toggled using Z in FMP.) Use the up/down arrows to center the frequency in the shaded region.

I notice that the bandwidth in FMP is set to 9.5khz. I believe that IDAS is 6.25khz. I suggest that you adjust this.

The IDAS site is logged on 452.5875 in your video. DSD+ is telling you that this is Site 1.1-2 of an IDAS system. It is reporting the licensee as Two Way Radio Service. (It may be getting Two Way Radio Service from one of your DSD+ config files) Two Way Radio Service has numerous licenses in your area:
I don't see 452.5875 listed in the license for Two Way Radio Service - the closest frequencies listed in the license are 452.4875 (Washington County VA) and 452.7000 (Russell/Buchanan County VA). I suggest that you tune to 452.4875 and 482.7000 (and wait) to see if either of these frequencies are associated with what you are trying to capture. (This may or may not pan out).

<edit> The closest license on 452.5875 that I see for your location is Harlan County Public Schools in Kentucky. This 60 miles from your location - so, it is a long shot. FCC Callsign WQKV526 (Harlan County Public Schools)

You can strike the above comment about bandwidth.
Maybe you can find this because i can't i have more than one of these freqs that show IDAS two way radio service Hanover WV Wyoming . one freqs is 462.2500 and one is 461.8375. i'll add a screenshot i do get traffic on them it may just be a unknown freqs.

if i programmed those into my scanner would IDAS be NXDN?

It does not look like these frequencies are in the RR database.

Did you do a FCC Frequency Search ( RRDB | FCC Data | Query ) of 462.25 and of 461.8375 in West Virginia? You should be able to find the license information for Two Way Radio Service in Hanover WV. As my college professors said, this is left as an exercise for the student.

You are finding multiple sites for this system. Looking at your latest screenshot:
Network: 1.1
Site1: 461.3875
Site8: 461.8375, 462.25
I believe your video from yesterday showed another site.
Site2: 452.5875, 451.925

Hopefully, you can start hearing enough traffic where you can listen and try to identify the users for this system. You are seeing group calls on Site8 - so you might want to focus there first.

Is there any information In the Channel Activity window in DSD+? Are you seeing any LCN information?

Well it says it's wyoming county WV and that county is in the database hanover so it's somthing in wv . google says
Hanover is an unincorporated community in Wyoming County, West Virginia, United States.

IDAS is NXDN correct?

Yes - the license location for that site is Hanover in Wyoming County, West Virginia. It looks like the system also has sites in Virginia. (You should be more familiar with your surrounding area than I am. That is why some of your questions are better suited for the Virginia forum)

IDAS is Icom’s version of NXDN.

Do you have any idea why my waterfall feed does this
Video
It does that everytime i go to a site it will show the control channel for awhile then it will go away and show dark blue background. i suspect it could be the overload issue that i have always had but has anyone else seen this before?

This should be asked in the Uniden Tech forum - since this relates to the sds100 waterfall and is unrelated to Voice/Control Channel Decoding Software.
You seem to have always suffered from a strong signal around 152.27Mhz. I suspect this is related. What frequency is the large spike at (put a pointer on it)?

Could it be a refarmed Part 22 frequency? You could try tuning .0625 MHz above and below 452.5875 MHz and see if you get more reliable decoding.

These frequencies don't show up as discrete listings in the FCC database.

When tuning to 452.5875, have you confirmed that you are tuned to the center frequency by enabling the Zoom Spectrum Overlay in FMP? What was the result?

Ok...in sentinel how come if i choose dmr single freqs i don't have a place to put in a freqs but i can select which time slot i want but if i choose conventional and put my freqs in like that i can choose the color code but i can't with the trunk option. it's got me confused on how that works if i want to put a dmr freq in that dsdplus shows as this (see attached pic) how do i do it ? i can't find that freqs either in the RRDB as DMR 154.8625

Proscan i'm having a problem with it i want it to record each transmission as the scanner does but it's recording it all different . like it records a channel and it will keep recording all traffic to that same section . i just want it to record and display each transmission from the scanner instead of the same channel into one long transmission. like take floyd for example in the screenshot it's recording all floyd transmissions into one long clip and i want to record each transmission into it's own thing like dsdplus fl does
