Now even I am confused lol.

For Motorola Smartzone use either Unitrunker or Trunk88 to trunk track it. It has nothing to do with P25.

However individual talk frequencies can be put into a fmp24 scanlist file and DSD+ will decode those which may be a mix of clear FM and P25 digital.,

Okay, I think the proverbial penny has dropped, I think? So the only way I can listen to a p25 phase 1 or 2 is by feeding DSD+ any version with a signal from a tapped scanner or SDRSharp for example.

You can trunk track P25 Phase I or Phase II systems with your DSD+ FL and a couple of dongles.

Trunk88 does pretty good on any Motorola SmartZone system. Takes some editing but it's worth it. that's a Phase I system

I was just reading the Trunking Text Document from DSD2.156 and this is what it says:
NEXEDGE, Con+ and TIII (Hytera) trunking are fully supported

So I guess that means no trunk tracking from this program.

What's is not Phase I again? Look at all those talk groups with "D" Most of it is Phase I part of it is in analogue.

The OKWIN system here has the same thing going on. If I decide to decode the digital groups I know for dang sure DSDPlus will say its Phase I !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! https://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?sid=844

FL doesn't come with a trunking.txt file. It has a notes.txt file that says P25 Phase I and II voice following is supported. Nothing about tracking Moto Type II systems though.

The system is not a P25 system, so it's not a Phase I system. It's an old Moto Type II system. When it comes to trunk tracking, DSD+ FL cares about the system type, not the voice types.

I think you need to use unitrunker to monitor it then feed audio via virtual audio cable to DSD+ to decode the p25...
