The North Longwood site (DEF) has the Harris P25 test signal running on 857.3125 now
I stopped by this site yesterday and saw two new 1/2" heliax running up the tower leg. It also looks like there is a new LNA on the second receive antenna.

Test signal detected, no data for Pro96Com, or Unitrunker to work with yet. Will keep checking it and the other IN sites and let you all know once I nab Site/System data.

CC for the West Central IN simulcast is 854.8125 currently. Still just the motor sound of the CC. No actual data being passed yet.

Is this for DUKE Energy? I hadn't heard of any control channels being active yet, and they don't have any simulcast sites.

Its a CC.. But I am not getting any data off of it from the BCD396XT on either of the softwares, and the 436 is not doing a decode on analyze either. I am getting steady 2 to 3 bars signal. Even if it was a bounce from AES P25, I would be decoding it.

Emissions Designations show LSM.
Though its only a single site. Though it does share some freqs with the others in the set.

Ok. Well that just means it's some signal -- probably a test signal. And that won't necessarily indicate that it is going to be the CC for that site. I think the same company taking care of the AEP buildout is doing Duke as well. And there are the 20 khz signals (that I call test signals) all over the band here in Ohio where old EDACS freqs used to be, and none of them are the control channels for the site. Sure, they could configure Duke differently, but I would not instantly think that because there is a 20 khz nondecodable signal, that it will be a/the future CC.

I will see if I can get the Hamilton County site, and Putnam too as they are close enough to grab. And once it goes full power, the coverage circles and ranges they have are crazy overlap so I will be able to get several sites info once live.

Looks like P25 Phase I C4FM and P25 PHase II TDMA H-DQPSK. Not sure I would read anything there as simulcast. Not that it couldn't be, but those emissions designators do not make it specifically simulcast.

As I have been corrected many times, PHase II TDMA voice is PSK.

2 teal-colored vertical antennas just got installed on the Huntington, IN Duke tower site within the past week. They look the same as the 2 teal-colored antennas on the Lafontaine, IN AEP site. Both sites have the antennas at different heights as well. I wonder why they're installing 2, and at different heights.

Also are both on same side of tower? And are the dishes for microwave up yet?
