With MPSCS, I know numerous sites share the same CC frequency, but they are normally far apart from each other. The RR Database is showing the following:

ROMEO #202 868.9875MHz

MACOMB COUNTY SIMULCAST #219 868.9875MHz

Romeo is not one of the nine sites included in the Macomb County simulcast system. Is this listing correct, or is it an error?

Thanks!

I lie in Barry county and one county one way and another the other way have the same CC. So if I stand in one part of the house I get one tower and stand in the other part I get the other.
In kent county I know they changed the CC to the 2nd and the database here was not updated.

Per Bill's post this was stemmed from his experience with it and a email i received from a Officer at a Macomb PD on the west side of the county.

The macomb towers are running on the same control freqs as the
rest of the systems. Apparently the 213 (or 219?) code is the ID
assigned to all of the Macomb towers (simulcast system), So you'll
see the same number no matter which tower you are affiliated too.

I still think the RR Database is in error for the ROMEO tower site. I'm unable to check it myself at the moment, but a friend is indicating that ROMEO is actually on 868.1625 MHz.

Site ID 202 (Romeo) shows a CC 0f 868.1625 and alt of 868.9875. Site ID 219(dec) or 213 (hex) (Macomb Simulcast) shows a CC of 868.9875 and an alt of 868.2625. From what it is showing, there would be a problem if Romeo ever switches to alt CC.

That's not what I'm seeing:

On RR's Database, the Primary Control Channel frequency for ROMEO (in red) is 868.9875.

868.1625 is in blue, indicating it is an Alternate Control Channel frequency. I think you have it reversed. Are you talking about the database, or what you're seeing with PRO96COM?

If I'm not mistaking the alternate is 868.5125 for Romeo Tower.

You are correct, that is one of them, but some systems have more than one alternate. How do you go about getting RR to correct this error showing the primary cc being listed as 868.9875? I looked all over the database page, but could only find a link for posting new entries. Should I just send a message to one of the database admins?

Thanks!

That's what I thought too. But I started going that route, and it appeared that it was for submitting new systems, not for making corrections.

Submit is for new information and corrections (any changes). I didn't submit the change because I didn't notice it until you posted.

Would you like to submit it? I'm not certain about the alternates.

Ok I'll do it in the morning, I just got home from the bar and I'll do a fresh run on the towers in the morning.
