VEHICLE FIRE, EAST CALN By Minquas Fire Company No. 2 March 19, 2010 Station 46 responded to a report of a car fire in the driveway of a residence in the Bell Tavern Section of East Caln Township. Upon arrival at the scene, Chief 46 reported a vehicle well off in the driveway, close to the structure. He then requested the second engine to the scene. Crews made a quick knockdown on the fire and were able to limit the fire spread and save the structure. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
