Hi hopefully this is the correct thread. I would like to know if the new CONFIRE updated talkgroups that are listed in radio reference will be available to download to a PSR 800 scanner ? I tried updating my Scanner library list this weekend and did not see the new con fire IDs ? I also noticed some other new car group IDs in Contra Costa County as well.

We have no control over that here. It all depends on how/when they do their update.

Does anyone know if the 006(6)-CCCO East Simulcast Primary control channel is correct?
It is listed as 772.80625c, I have only seen the east cell use 772.50625a.

I don't normally listen to the East cell, just central. But do see it in the peer list, and was monitoring it a few times over the past few weeks?

Hello All. I am neither a guru nor a complete idiot but cannot get EBRCS on my 396xt to work. I'm using Freescan and everything loads but I'm getting no audio. I'm in San Ramon and am interested in SRV Fire and Sheriff Dispatch. As such I have the MP25 at CCCOCentral and 3 sub groups (sheriff and fire). the APCO band plan section is entirely black. Is that on purpose on the Freescan download?

To this end I will buy someone a case of beer to help me get this unit dialed in.

Thank everyone.

Use a P25 standard system not Mot/P25.

Can you post your Freescan file here so we can take a look at it as well?

FreeScan filefor 396

here it is. It seems to have corrected itself but I welcome any and all modifications to this. I would not be surprised if there was needless redundancy in the assemblage of systems/groups etc.

Had a friend tell me a couple of Oakland PD patrol cars were at the ALCO radio shop the other day. Sounds like units are getting programmed for EBRCS? :)

Pleasanton and Livermore PD on PSR-600

For some reason I am no longer receiving the Pleasanton and Livermore PD or ALCO fire talk groups on my GRE PSR-600. I do hear the Alameda County Sheriff however but for some reason nothing on any of the Pleasanton or Livermore talk groups. I have tried loading frequencies from ALCO East and Crane Ridge and I have reset the scanner to factory default and reloaded the RR database via Win500 software.

For example, the talk groups I am monitoring are 3305 for Pleasanton PD and 3505 for Livermore PD.

Has anyone else run into this issue?

Thanks,

Art

You shouldn't need the Crane ridge site. That one generally only broadcasts ALCO Fire/Sheriff. If you are NOT hearing Pleasanton & Livermore, you are probably listening to the Crane site.

Try just loading up the ALCO East site and see if that works.
