Okay, pro96com on CoCo Central Today...

There were some new affiliations which aren't in the database yet which are interesting and should be logged here...

1. TGID 1004 affiliation occurred with a Radio ID # 403xxxx - I don't have a 403 series in my logs, so no clue there. Only one affiliation with TG 1004.

2. TGID 1007 - multiple affiliations throughout the day, with 4077xxx series of Radio IDs. 4077xxx is CCSO. During the same period an equal number of affiliations occurred with TG 1007 and Radio ID 16777208 - this is a Tech's radio.

3. TGID 7507 affiliation occurred with Radio # 4300227. This is a Richmond PD Radio. Two seconds later, at 7:38am, the same radio affiliated with CCSO West. That radio didn't unaffiliate with 7726 until well after 2pm this afternoon. TG 7507 is in the Richmond PD range of TGs. Richmond had Housing Authority and Public Works TGs on EDACS. Stands to reason that there are more unitendified Richmond talkgroups out there on EBRCS.

Frequencies... there are three other freqs listed in the site that aren't in the RR database. I'm not sure what these are though since I've got much to learn about these types of systems...

Are you a wiki person? Maybe we can add your radio IDs to it so we can keep track of the radios to identify new talkgroups

I'd try it but I never had much luck working/editing that stupid thing.

re: coc

I don't think highland is active yet either. I can see highland and I get zero here.

Hes Possibly hearing bald or kregor?

Are they simulcasting RFD 24/7 as I'm only hearing traffic mid to late afternoon most days. Haven't heard anything on Alco East in a couple months. Are they not testing on Alco east yet?

Not much of a wiki person, no... guess I could learn if you think it would be helpful. I'm definitely logging and listening for changes as much as I can.

Are you referring to CoCo Central? If so, they stopped simulcasting RFD onto Central not long after they started. I only see RFD traffic now on Central when someone affiliates with RFD from the Central cell.

I just heard some traffic on TG 6305 RFD CoCo Central so that means someone has associated with that cell and is not simulcasted?
Still very new to this and trying to grasp.

The 4xx. freqs are off LLNL diablo site so thinking some type of link is setup between the 2 systems.
Nope, links don't work like that; if there is any kind of link or patch the CC won't tell you other than a TG patch. He must have briefly caught the Diablo control channel accidentally and it merged it in to the file.

I don't know about that either, Wayne. Every time I restart pro96com on the Central cell, those channels pop up - I start the scanner on the channel first, then start pro96com....

Here they are again. Indeed, those 400 MHz freqs belong to LLNL, but this still doesn't explain the 859.15000.

Admittedly, I know very little how things work at this level. Just posting my findings, that's all.

It's probably on autosave. You would need to go into the txt file and edit those out. Run it again and they will be gone.

For what its worth I don't get any of those freqs while monitoring the central site.

Someone has been affiliated with RFD on COCO central all day today. Still hearing RFD on central site tonight.

For anyone that listens to Fremont PD...I just got news from a Communications Supervisor in FPD that they are switching to EBRCS sometime around October.

My guess is it's probably more towards the end of the year. They will be on ALCO SW site, which doesn't have a cutover date yet. ALCO NW is scheduled for September 2012 so theirs will be later than that.

Hopefully that June newsletter comes out soon with updated dates.

If you edit them out and they reappear that makes me think you have Priority on and it's sampling more than what you think you're monitoring.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 2.3.4; en-us; pcdadr6350 Build/GRJ22) AppleWebKit/533.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/533.1)

I just deleted the tower105 file... The wayward freqs are gone now. Don't know how that happened tho...

... just a bit of a talkgroup update. This is log info from the CCC West system.

The log data is from the last few weeks, 4-5 or so.

81 TGs have been logged (from 957 radios)

37 of those affiliated with no hits logged.
35 of those affiliated and logged between 1 and 74 hits
13 are active talkgroups with hundreds of hits
5 are Radio Techs.

Encryption was seen on 8 of those talkgroups. While 4 of these are expected (RPD Tac 2, and 3 radio tech TGs), 4 others are more shocking, RPD 1, CCC Sheriff West, TG 7210 and 7706. TG 7210 could be another El Ceritto PD TG, while 7706 looks to be associated with CCSO.

Attached is the pro96com TG log in CSV...
