hey kma - that was a typo in the submission.
the correct TG is 7206
not 7706
my bad.
units just referred to TG 7510 as Tac Six.... the RPD encrypted tac channel currently known as Tac 2.
I agree...
kma, have a great Fourth! Thanks for your work!
That would make sense because it's six channels up from the main, 7505..
I've noticed when I'm listening to the CC in conventional mode I don't here the normal motorboat sound. Is that normal for P25 systems? Come to think of it I haven't heard it on any other P25 system in the bay area.. Only analog.
The control channel does sound entirely like an open squelch with nothing on it. You can hear a pattern if you listen close, but it sounds nothing like the 3600 baud control channels.I've noticed when I'm listening to the CC in conventional mode I don't here the normal motorboat sound. What a control channel sounds like - YouTube
996xt 1.06 firmware.
The BCD996XT mutes the audio for P25 control channels and displays "DAT". You can only hear the raw audio for Motorola and EDACS control channels.
Sounds like a new TG of 3505 on the east cell. Sounds like PPD or ACSO. Talking about addresses in Pleasanton and referencing John 31..
CCCO East or ALCO East? I assume ALCO but since you didn't mention I'd like to clarify.
ALCO East.

Sounds like techs are on 3305 also doing testing in the Livermore area.
