re; LPD

I heard the techs testing a couple of new TGIDs on ALCO East Simulcast today: 3305 & 3308. Earlier, I heard a tech say that the console levels at Livermore were set and that he was going up to Sunol for the day. My guess is that these new IDs belong to Livermore PD. Time will tell, and hopefully soon.

Haven't heard LPD in a couple days on the trunk system.. Appears that they are gone for good as my scanner has been silent.

I'll update.

Confirmed again on TG 7805. Call signs of Parole-2 and Parole-5 discussing warrant service and the lack of a CDCR number on the paperwork...poor bastards.

Radio IDs again from CoCo County, 4077xxx

kma, I don't know if I'd tag it as Law Dispatch in the db though... probably Law Talk.

Also, on Richmond PD TG 7510 (the encrypted Tac channel) - just heard Dispatch refer to it as Tac 2. Maybe switch 'em back to Tac 1 (7509) and Tac 2 (7510 Enc)...

Todays listening

Recorded about 2-3 hours and my recording system identifies the talk group for each transmission.

For TG 7712, all the dispatches I heard were for San Ramon

For TG 7726 I heard dispatches for Orinda (23xxx units), Lafayette (18xxx units), Regular sheriff units (1xxx units) and Martinez PD (6xxx units)

Martinez PD on the S/O talkgroup? I'll have to check and see if they took over.

San Ramon has always been the guinea pig with radio stuff for the S/O (first to have MDCs among other things) May be trying it out with them first for channel 2?

I'll check on that too.

Ok. I got a response quicker than I thought. As far as my contact knows, S/O hasn't taken over dispatch for Martinez. Odd that they are on the west channel since its more central.

Maybe it's a patch. Hey Trip, can you still hear Martinez on UHF?

That was gonna be my guess too for TG 7712 - New ACSO Ch 2? Good hunting guys, keep up the good work. :)

MPD still on UHF, still on old radios, analog voice, MDC squaks.

Martinez is having two new consoles installed according to te EBRCSA newsletter. I don't think the SO will be dispatching for them.

Also there is a central cell tower on Pine Street smack dab in the middle of Martinez...

Also, Martinez PD doesn't use 6xxx for unit call signs. They use their badge numbers, three digit, 1xx - 3xx range, plus Sam call signs for the sergeants.

Comment on the Mtz (??) dispatch

I went back to my recording and listened to it several times. What I heard at the beginning was "clipped" and was probably not a "6". In the message itself I heard a Martinez street name and just assumed it was a Mtz dispatch. Likely that was wrong. I am going to set up a long recording for that 7726 TG again today and listen carefully.

I can confirm that Martinez is not patched onto EBRCS at this time. 7712 is confirmed as CCSO Central as it was a week or so ago. Starting to see some digital subscribers on the talkgroup now, but the dispatcher (and most other traffic) is still on the analog system patched onto EBRCS (as is West).

CCSO East (7715) also logged a fair amount of channel grants this morning between 8am and 12pm - not seeing anything now and all radio IDs were 0.

112 logged talk groups from central and west cells on 1,508 radios... no new TGs noted in several weeks now.

I heard testing on the ALCO SW Simulcast yesterday and today on TGID 5078. Today they were over on the Peninsula at Crystal Springs Res. (which they said would be the furthest west and south that they would test) and the Colma BART. They said Colma BART would be an active location for the "scenario". I wonder if they were referring to Urban Shield, which starts Oct 26th this year. That would be a good test of the new system.

kma371,
can you change the CC for the COCO east cell to 772.806250 please. It hasn't been on that freq posted in the database for a couple of months now.

Do you mean add it? It's not in there already.

Maybe that's why I'm not hearing anything.

Yes add it, the 772.50625 freq isn't even listed anymore in the Pro96com software when I run it on the new CC freq.

Edit : Actually I take that back, its listed but as a alternate.
I've added my screen shot of the p96 software. > http://www.fotoshack.us/fotos/87617new.png
Sorry about all the edits, working nights has its drawbacks.
