Don't know, but it they do, it'd seem logical for it to be TGID 7656, so you might monitor that and see if you hear anything.

The database is community-sourced. Just because something's not in it, doesn't mean it doesn't exist. There's a long list of TG on which traffic has been observed, but which have not yet been added to the database at East Bay Regional Communications System (EBRCS) Unknown Talkgroups - The RadioReference Wiki

I head that CoCo SO upgraded quite a few of their in-car radios recently. I also read that in 2014, EBRCSA planned to upgrade to phase 2 by 2018 -

Based on http://forums.radioreference.com/sa...ssion/217160-ebrcs-update-45.html#post2844540 , it doesn't sound like it's really imminent....
A summary of that link says in 2017, it would be a three year project so I would say at least another 3-5 years.
I heard from a reliable source today that phase 2 will come in July of 2020, inline with the comment above.
They are transitioning to phase II as we speak, they plan on being finished with the hardware part in June, 2019, one year of full testing then flipping the switch July of 2020.

It all depends on what you are useing now. Most of the new digital scanners that have been released over the last 5 years can scan P25 Phase 2.

I am on my third trip to the Bay Area since I got my SDS-100 and it is picking up the EBRCS better than the BCD436HP. I am staying between San Jose and Santa Clara both radios have Remtronix 800 antennas. Working good on the SVRS too.

Seems there is a new TG on EBRCS. TGID 9006 was being tested today 11/15. I overheard Contra costa regional medical center talking to local hospitals such as Concord, Martinez, Richmond, ect. All were copied loud and clear.
Interesting. Do you remember which cell you were monitoring or have any radio IDs?

I unfortunately did not have the radio ID settings turned on so I did't get any. I was monitoring CCCO Central Simulcast at the time.
Has anyone had the opportunity to monitor the Benicia channels? Maritime Academy in Vallejo has, apparently, bought EBRCS radios and contracted dispatch from Benicia, but I have not seen any new talkgroups pop-up in the DB, unless they are using Benicia's TG's.

I do recall Maritime Academy was for a while being dispatched by SJSU PD, as was/is CSU East Bay, and was listenable on their SVRCS channel. I'll keep an eye on EBRCS.
