Sounds like ALCO Northwest is next up, folks.... Alameda, Berkeley, ALCO FIre...
ALCO East is up first, with a tentative cutover date scheduled for July 1st. ALCO Northwest has a cutover target of September 2012.
Thanks... your interpretation of "Q1" and "Q2" differs from mine, I suppose. Because when I read ALCO East cutover as Q1 2012, I don't read that as "July 1st" as you posted. When I read "Q2" I don't read that as "September."They're in the March newsletter. The Seneca site is scheduled for completion mid-August.
Radio techs testing on TG 65531 in Oakland this afternoon... locations included Washington St, 11th, Broadway, 14th street - downtown area mostly... they were yapping too much so I stopped listening and locked out their TG...
I would expect this to be coverage testing for the ALCO Northwest Simulcast Cell. As of the last newsletter in March, 3 of 4 sites were completed (Seneca was at RFQ for construction at that point). Cutover date was scheduled for Q2 2012... wee bit late as of now. One would guess that Seneca is up and running at this point?

BTW, head this on COCO Central. 65531, I'm sure, is a global TG...

Just wanted to make sure we're looking at the same information... thanks!
Thanks for the clarification... I appreciate it.I think they forgot to update those quarters. If you look under "status" for each county transition team, there are more specific cutover dates for each area:
Contra Costa West County - Cut over date is scheduled for April 15-16th
Alameda East County - Tentative cutover date is scheduled for July 1st
Alameda NorthWest County - Cutover target September 2012
Contra Costa Central County - Cutover target October 2012
New activity on TG 1007 this morning on COCO Central. Not sure what the agency is, though...
Any callsigns heard?
Heard One Paul One (1P1)... I think it's Parks... I'll mak a note here when I hear more.
New radio traffic on 1007... referenced some type of domestic dispute related to I-680 and Lake Herman Road - a half-mile west of the Water Treatment Plant. The radio traffic didn't sound like LEO.I'll try to get clarification. County parks don't have radios AFAIK.

Radio IDs were 4169112 and 4169027. I haven't logged a 416xxxx yet...
In my earlier post this morning I heard traffic about senior centers and flyers and ice machines! Now, hearing this new traffic - in Vallejo! It's a WTF moment...why are there subscribers in Vallejo on EBRCS?
All on COCO Central.
You got it right, that's Benicia.Well that's Benicia, but strange none the less. Any audio recordings?
You got it right, that's Benicia.
I have no recordings. I'm not set up to do audio recordings. The traffic was clear, 680 and Lake Herman Rd...? WTF is EBRCS doing up there?
Should I configure my station for audio recording? Sounds like I have to purchase new equipment... the wife would be mad!
Right now, just one Pro-197 - I've just purchased another 197 which is on the way, it'll be here Tuesday and replace my existing Pro 163 so I'll have two 197s side by side. Then I'll be able to pro96com and monitor EBRCS more properly! I'm always happy to buy new equipment... wife be damned!Nah it's easy. What radio are you using? Freescan software has audio recoding capabilities.
