Editing full database - channel details and adding channels

Hi All,

I hope this isn't a dumb question but I, for the life of me, can not figure out how to edit the full database. In the Sentinel software it appears all I can do is set/clear avoids in the full database.

What I need to do is add a channel to the full database and I need to edit another that is locked to conventional, yet is digital.

I tried both in the Sentinel software and the menu on the radio. The only way I could add the channel that was missing was to put it in a dedicated Favorites List and include that in the scan selection. That isn't the way I want to do it.

You really can't edit the full database - at least not through any Uniden solutions....

You could find and edit the downloaded database files - but not easily. And, then the next time you download database updates, those changes would be wiped out.

The better (but not necessarily complete solution) would be to submit your changes to the RRDB.

Beyond that - it's personal favorites lists with the changes (and locking out things from the full database).
