Thanks for checking the system out, I also did the same thing and ran ET Fusion all of last night and just stopped scanning ET Fusion. I also had 420.275 in as conventional and it is showing CC-1 DMR and I am hearing audio and tg's are coming up on the frequency I had the scanner set modulation to auto so it would search. I at no time picked up anything on the ET Fusion system but was picking up embassy suites on the 420.275 CC-1 DMR.

I currently have three scanners running on this system ONLY right now, maybe I will pick something up within the next 24-48 hours? Who knows. But so far, it's been really quiet.

It's strange that I ran the ET Fusion for over 10 hours and got nothing and also ran the 420.275 frequency as CC-1 DMR at the same time and was receiving Embassy suites on the 420.275 frequency set up as DMR.

I'm here a lot
What I am going to do is put the ET Fusion trunking system into seclusion in the Deprecated menu. If and when it broadcasts regularly, I will put it into the main trunk listing.

I will put 420.275 in the Business listings for Niagara and put 420.4625 in the Business listings for Halton when I know what 10001 etc.. are used for.

I think this is a good idea. This will also allow us to listen to radio traffic to determine who is on the system. Because Embassy Suites isn't. They have (I believe) the second tallest building in Niagara Falls, and I know they run conventional.

Hey @Saint, are you sure the traffic you're hearing is from Niagara Falls?
I can confirm its embassy suites on 420.275 with CC-1 DMR, picked up maintenance and housekeeping

Just a morning update for everyone... I have been monitoring this 'New System' for approximately 48 hours from within Niagara Falls. Checking this morning, I can confirm that NONE of my scanners have picked up any voice or data traffic. Not event blips of the system beaconing which all trunked systems do.

Sorry to fill you all with bad news this morning. I am going solely monitor this system for another 73 three hours, then I will post a final update. So far, it's not looking good.

Alright everyone, here's the news...

I monitored this system on 4 separate scanners this entire weekend to ensure that I didn't miss any kind of blips, data or voice traffic. The scanners used were a: Whistler TRX-2, SDS-100, SDS-200, and even and SDR.

For context, this weekend was Family Day weekend which I can ensure you that the city of Niagara Falls was extremely busy. From the attractions (the ones open this time of year), to the hotels, motels, and just normal traffic on the roads.

I wanted to share these results this morning, but unfortunately, I got tied up at work and I wasn't able to do so. Was that good news? Well, it depends on which way you look at it. I did get to scan the system for another 4+ hours... but the results were one in the same. NOTHING!

NOTE: I had this system in my radio as both a conventional and trunked system.

Thank you Brandon for investing the time and effort into checking the system. Maybe over time it will start to show activity???. maybe we can revisit it in a few months.

No problem. I am going to leave it enabled in my scanner. But I am going to start scanning other systems again too. So, if I do pick something up, I will let everyone know.
