I belong to several scanner groups on facebook. We can no longer link to anything on radioreference.com with out it being flagged as spam and the comment removed. A quick search shows how YOU, the owners of the domain can fix it

How to Unblock a Blocked URL on Facebook

We thank you for help with this issue.

There's nothing wrong with our site on Facebook. No community standards issues, no problems crawling the site, no issues reported.

I don't know what to say here.

Apparently you do not understand....

Facebook algorithm has blacklisted Radioreference.com links. So no traffic will be directly driven to RR via facebook

The owners of radioreference.com need to take action in order to get facebook to whitelist radioreference.com. See the link in post #1

Facebook PAGE, posting as the PAGE.
It does not appear to limit some posts or comments as the group does (Pics below)

But, as soon as I entered the full http URL, it zapped my comment as spam.

Trying it on a facebook GROUP. I had posted "radioreference.com" and tagged the radioreference facebook page in 2 separate posts.
It would NOT allow me to click on "See all (2)" without the popup just refreshing

Exactly. Probably just the author's posting habits. And what is happening in those groups.

But according to your earlier statement, it must be your posting habits. :)

I said "probably". I've been trying to assist in the situation the whole time. I do apologize for the blaming, though.

I was only getting snarky because of the wording of the original post though...

But it's obvious to me that "Radioreference.com" is not just COMPLETELY blocked. What it is? Don't know, not that educated on those systems.

No harm no foul, you are a valued contributor full of valuable info, don't take my comment seriously.

This is categorically false.

wackyracer, please stop with this. The only person that doesn’t understand what is going on is you. There is no blacklist on RadioReference links.

I suspect that has happened here is at some point there was some spam in the forums that triggered Facebook's algorithm for certain links in combination with facebook groups typically used for spam, along with poster's general historical interaction with facebook.

We're not blocked by Facebook
The og:image "issue" that wackyracer points out is not really an issue

There is literally no action we can take on our part except to wait for facebook's black box algorithm to resolve itself for these off cases where this is occuring.

Again, there is no sitewide block on RadioReference at facebook at this time (I've verified through multiple sources, tests, and investigation)

Now, let's get back to more important things, like your New Year's resolutions.

Did you even look at my screen that literally shows what facebook/meta has a problem with???? Here it si ...please try fixing that and , run the debugger agian and see if it clears. I am doing all I can to help get this resolved, but RR seems to be ingoring the possible fix? 1736008142252.png
