Anyone know what's going on with Fair Lawn PD? I'm hearing them muted from time to time on the Fair Lawn EMS frequency.

Are you referring to the buzzing and distortion on Fair Lawn EMS frequency of 470.3625?

No. I am aware the buzzing sound is due to West New York's P25 encryption. From time to time I hear what appears to be Fair Lawn PD transmissions (Fair Lawn addresses being broadcast). The audio is very low/muted.

I do know that for some reason, Paterson PD 460.300 was coming in on Fair Lawn EMS frequency last night. The FLPD desk was also receiving it, so it has to be something coming in on the input frequency of the repeater. Crazy stuff???

That must be what I was hearing. I heard an address of "Broadway," so I assumed it was Fair Lawn PD, but I guess it was Paterson PD instead. Someone must have a patch of some sort enabled between Paterson PD and Fair Lawn EMS.
