Another request: Channel 6 just now at 10:51. Unit called in a disabled and requested a patrol unit. He was going by what sounded by "CRE 4." Don't see that in the wiki. Only thing I can think of is crash reconstruction?

Could it have been "CRT 4" or "CIT 4"? CIT officers are specially trained in mental health crisis response. They have teams made up of responders from PD, Fire, and CSB (Community Services Board) employees.

No, wasn't one of those.

Sounds like at least some districts have switched to using "Watch" for the LTs. Just heard McLean LT going by "Watch 3 Bravo."

Yep. And at least one Mason shift too. Heard Watch Four Bravo on 10/11.

Several districts are still using the Car # format for lieutenants, but TUT has switched over to "Urban Watch 1" for their shift CO. Not even sure that's a LT, probably a SGT. Will be interesting to see if other units with shifts switch to that as well.

Urban Watch 1 is a Lt.

Anyone know what units going by "Victor #" are? Violent Crimes Division?
Update… thinking this is a new unit. They seemed to be tactical units and were referred to by patrol variously as “Violent Crimes,” “Violent Crime Suppression,” “Crime Suppression,” and “VCS.”

They can't even staff the South County Station in Lorton.
Yeah so I notice. And 6D, 2D, and 4D seem to constantly be holding calls in pending and asking other stations for backup. I don’t recall this happening nearly this much until the last few months.
