Is this another system that can only be monitored by GRE 800? Many trips through there with only occasional stops on tg's but no audio on my rs pro 106. Anyone with a 106 have any luck?

Last I knew it was P25. Check to see if they re-banded. I haven't listened to it in a while, haven't been up that far and I don't get them at home.

I have it set to p-25 and no problems monitoring when passing through. Double check your settings and cc's

It's not a true P25 system. It's a Motorola P16 system that uses P25 audio on most of the talkgroups. (There are also analog talkgroups, which the system couldn't have if it were a true P25.) And yes, the system was rebanded some time ago; the frequencies in the database are correct.

Fauquier is working just fine...the only change since firing it up is the Rebanding. Set your 106 to mot 800/900.

Thanks Dave & KLO5078. I have had it set for MOT 8/9. I see it's receiving control channels fine but nothing ever happens except for the occaisional pause for a tg like Warrenton PD but no audio ever. In response to Mike I did try setting to P25 once but I ended up losing the control channel. Back to M 8/9 mode I went.
The freqs I have appear to be rebanded. I can't see the RRDB on my wireless device; I'll list them here. Someone please say whether they're correct. If they are, might there be custom tables I need to enter?
Fauquier:
852.925 853.45 853.55 853.7125
Culpeper:
852.2875 852.55 853.075 853.3

Dave, I have your site bookmarked on my phone because I can see your listings while I cannot here. recently I see nothing there. Are there plans to put it back up?

Steve...the current CC is 853.7125. You must also add the Rebanded data either from software or the key pad (easy to do but takes a few minutes).

Thanks Dave. Got it.

I already have that freq on the list. I hear the data.

Unless my schedule changes, I'll be driving through Fauquier County again either Monday evening and/or Tuesday morning.

Still wondering if there is a custom table I may need....

Yep you do need the standard custom table, Steve. There are several freqs on this system - regardless of which site you use - that has a '0' in the 4th decimal.

Yes I can confirm that it is working fine on my 996XT (and on the 800). I have a reception problem though which is frustrating since I am just right over the county line but coverage on the RT 50 corridor is kind of "spotty". On the other hand STARS comes in great from the MT Weather site.

As it turned out, my sch edule did change. Oh, well, I'll be that way again soon enough. Todd, since you have a 197 would you be abnle to send a .p500 file in a pm. Maybe if I look at your file next to mine I can see what I missed.
To Mike jjz.... Standard custom? Didn't understand at all.

Be glad to. I work tonight and tomorrow night, but will get it to you w/n the next couple days. Hopefully tomorrow, if I have time.

I should have mentioned that I downloaded only the Rapphannock and Culpeper TG's. I did not put Fauquier TG's in... but I did download all of the system frequencies. I don't think that would make any difference since I was receiving the system, however.

Thanks, Todd! No big hurry. As you can tell, I'm on the wireless. With the Labor Day push going on now, I don't think I'll be home until Friday evening anyway. You're right, though, Mooking at you sysyem settings should reveal the answer.

Without knowing which of the 3 packages you're using, I'd take a look at the rebanding support section of

Object Oriented Scanner Software - The RadioReference Wiki

which has links to the user guides for ARC500 and Win500, and there's a note there about PSREdit500 as well.

The easiest way to go would be to download the data from the database, assuming the rebanding flag has been set. It should automatically set up the custom table values you need.

I am having problems uploading my file for Steve. Can someone help me? I was thinking I needed to change it to a .zip, but cannot upload it that way or by leaving it with the same extension.

Thanks!
