Ok, which are "Unit ID's" and which are "Talkgroups"? You keep stating "ID's"
Also, are they done putting tower sites up? From the site map I see, I'd hate to be in Brooks and need to talk via portable
If you take another look at what was posted (and what you quoted) each list is clearly marked as "Talk Group ID's" and "Unit ID's". Not trying to be difficult, but I'm not sure how to state it any clearer.
Joe
Not sure, I'll ask the 911 director in casual conversation next time I see her. One of the major reasons for the new system was to fill in those gaps, like Brooks. Here's a link to the meeting minutes of the Communications Board, which oversees all 911 communications in this county. There may be meeting notes about the progress:

I wonder where all the minutes are from 2022?
It is still missing PTC Fire & EMS Talk Groups.Just saw that Sentinel software has been updated to the new Fayette P25 system, thank you to everyone who helped ID the new talk groups and provide the new Simulcast numbers.
EMS and Fire are included under fire and ems all talk group. It is still missing PTC Fire & EMS Talk Groups.
Any luck on this this post since the last update?
Fayette is not encrypted. I believe they have the ability but do not have it turned on. At least their dispatch channels aren't. I am using a BCD436hp and I am able to hear Sheriff, Fayetteville PD, PTC PD, County Fire, and PTC Fire dispatch channels. I don't pick up any tac channels though so I only hear chunks of what is happening. According to RR it looks like most dispatch channels are P25 Trunk while most tac channels are Conventional. I don't totally know what that means but I think the database from RR has something incorrect. I don't ever pick up anything that's listed under conventional. I've been changing settings in Sentinel trial and error style for days to see if I can figure anything out but no luck so far. Maybe the scanner gods will bless us and someone with a bigger brain than mine will update the RR database for Fayette soon.
Yea of course I can't hear anything on the conventional system channels lol duhh. I misunderstood what I was looking at. I just scanned through the forum it makes a lot more sense now. Good to know that the database is indeed accurate. Looks like you guys put in some hard work! It will be a tragic day when they turn on full encryption. There's nothing better than sitting on my back porch, having a beer, and listening in to what the distant sirens are heading to. SO got in a heck of a chase last night.Chris, scan back through this thread for the latest. Fayette County has totally converted to a P25 system since last fall. The database has been updated and is accurate. They have NOT turned on encryption yet, although that is part of the plan. I regularly scan using an SDS100 scanner and can pickup everything. They do simulcast a few dispatch channels on VHF as a backup. You won’t hear anything on the old conventional trucked system because it’s been replaced by the P25 system.
Not debating you, but do you have an accurate source for this?.....They have NOT turned on encryption yet, although that is part of the plan.....
