This 2011 document (Forest Health Survey Aviation Plan) shows 173.675 as a air to ground freq for Sequoia Kings National Park.
If 173.675 will not be used by SEKI as a air to ground freq in 2012, per a post in the Calif AG thread, then perhaps this freq will be used for something else in 2012.

I would not be so sure of that. SEKI and YOSE both have high search and rescue as well as medical workloads. Both are exclusive federal jurisdiction parks so they do it all. They need a separate air to ground from fire due to that workload. I will know better in a couple of weeks or less the official skinny on this. Both parks have had separate air to ground frequencies in the past. I think the direction to only use the new R5 A/G's applies to fire suppression only, not to all agency operations.
