Fdny dispatch frequencies 12.5 (uhf)

im know this is a little off topic, but i can't find a radio to do 6.25khz steps for the new narrow band frequencies, how would i round them off so i can still receive them FDNY/EMS?

heres the round off for FDNY, when i get the time i'll post the rounded off frequencies for EMS. This may or may not work for you depending on the scanner or radio your using. The PL's MUST be programmed as well or you'll recieve undisired traffic. well here it is for those who have scanners/radios that cant do the 6.25khz step.

I thought all of ems dispatching was done at metro tech,,,will it be moved from the current metrotech location to a new location???

As of last week EMS dispatch is scheduled to move in with us at the end of this month. Different building in the same complex.

Does anyone know when the ems units in the field will be switching to the new freq????

tuning in Steps? - Ditch that digital tuner and use an analog one with a fine tune knob & you can get right on the money.

Advances in Technology always seem to take us farther back.

Just because it doesn't display that last little 5, doesn't mean it's not tuning it. I drove down through Westchester County on Wednesday and back through the city yesterday and the new channels sounded great both times.

i say give it a couple of months. fdny still have their vhf frequencies running and its been nearly a year since the uhf been running.
