Here is two freqs. that are good for this area. Both are P25 167.7875 and 167.6125. You will hear ENC
and in the clear traffic.

Most of what I've been hearing in the Mobile area is in P25. Though, it's not quite as busy as in the past with their use of Nextel.Any one know if Mobile has gone quiet? Heard Fire channel about 2100 and haven't heard anything else.

Presently its been mostly P25 ENC. I get most of my listing from what people here post & from various lists on the net such as Chris Parris Fedcom &n also milcom sites I put em all in my PSR 500 & Pro 197 & maybe within days or weeks I get hitsPuzzleriddle, what are you hearing on 173.125??
Yes & all have been since about Feb 23/10 was when n I arrived. I am on Southside not too far from UAB HospitalAre you hearing those in the Bham area?

Years ago, this was a simplex channel...perhaps it still is.update caught this 1 about 3PM in the Centerpoint area..DEA input to 419.250 411.125000 AU NAC 156 2.0 --------------5------- 0
NO output frequency was heard.. only caught maybe 3 Tx

Thank you very much, I have it in my scanner but nothing heard on it yet170.800 has been used by US Marshalls for long time. Also at one time was used by witness protection program. Also, check out 170.750 simplex. When I worked downtown, it was used by Federal Courthouse Security & Witness Protection also.
