Andrew, you didn't put your city/county/state in your profile so it's hard to analyze this properly - but I'm going to make a WAG that the first number is the reed, the second (which is what you want) is the tone out frequency.

Before you go any further it's time for a little homework. This wiki article (anything in blue or underlined is a link) will outline the various steps, common questions and answers...

http://wiki.radioreference.com/index.php/Fire_Tone_Out

Once you have discovered whether those tone freqs are the ones you want, your next step is to decide how to program them. You can do it manually or with software - personally speaking if I only had one set of tones, I'd likely do it manually.

I'd jump on the Connecticut forum (or go to the Scan New England website and ask on the Conn. forum) and see if someone can validate my guess.

Those are Motorola QuikCall II tones.

You need to find out whether your pager is configured for common A or common B paging.

If it's common A, then you need to program 111-120 and 111-140.

If it's common B, then you need to program 111-120 and 140-120.

You should be able to figure that out from listening to your department being toned out.

(BTW, you should program the actual frequencies of the tones into the scanner, not the Moto designators that I listed above.)

Andrew I live in Wethersfield and probably have the Windsor tone outs saved at home since I have most of Hartford County. I'll check when I get back to the house and PM them to you. Is it fire you want or EMS?

I just checked and I don't have those stored on my comp but I'll monitor it when I get a chance then PM you the tones (assuming I have good enough reception). Could be a few days though. I'm gone today and have drill with my FD tomorrow

A two tone set is for a station and or pager. The single can be an all call to alert all stations for APB's and daily test of the alerting system.
