Hi folks..Just wondering if there is anyone who monitors the Morton Tower has noticed changes in the frequencies? I do not receive anything from 142.365 or 142.420 but instead am receiving calls on 143.730.........Any and all comments welcome. Thanks

It's possible that a couple of channels have been removed from rotation on the FleetNet (Smartnet technology) system, and are being prepared as the initial channels on the new Ontario Public Safety Radio Network (P25 Trunking technology).

Anyone not in the southern part of Ontario should be regularly checking the 142-143 section of the band looking for new PSRN (SID AD9) control channels. Those with advanced decoders should also keep an eye on the neighbor list as well as the CC and scc designations.
