"He does not seem to be "as" whacktastic as some of the other upstanding Florida citizens that have played wannabe cop are."

After reading more in depth some of the original documents plus what some others have put in this thread I think I might have to retract this statement... 😱

Not sure if same guy. There was a case some guy was on the Bay 800 analog system posing as a bcso and tried to clear a call out with codes and didn't do them right. I think there was a woman was in it to.

Just remember a nutjob doesn't always mean dumb, the sociopath thing came to me as a result of reading how they caught him by offering him some kind of thank you award, it appealed to his vanity
When I said nutjob, I meant insane person . . . beyond insane.

yea he mentioned something about an analog or smarnet system or something about panama city he was screwing with as well. Sounds like he was doing this for years

That was weird but yea its not the first time I've heard of whackers wanting that glory. Believe they're "helping" the police somehow and suddenly they believe their part of gang and believing they're operating in some official capacity. I wonder why he was being thanked? What really jammed him up was that he was trying to impress a girl that he could call in on the police radio or whatever, his larping fantasy, and called in her name for a check under a supervisors ID haha, which just so happened she was a wanted person and the return reply was to call in to the police station. obviously he didn't and that started an investigation. I wonder if it was that or he helped someone roadside or something. The detective said he knew him, it seems this was far from his first contact with police. But yea usually these kind of whackers can't help but insert themselves into police activity

I can't believe that he really thought he was some kind of elite hacker with bargaining chip info because he knows how to program a DMR and P25 radio and stunned their radios. He's a malicious twerp, not a white hat who found a secret backdoor. I do non affiliate scan and know my way around program software with commercial radios but man some of these radio whackers are a legend in their own mind

Periodically someone will show up on this site asking very specific questions on how to access a radio system. Usually there are signs that trigger the B.S. flag going up. Usually when asked, the "We help the police", "We work with the police", or some similar answer comes up. When pressed, they bolt, or they try to B.S. their way through it, or you find out they are a small (one man) "security" company, self proclaimed search and rescue, or some sort of other made up thing.
It's not super common, but it's not uncommon.
This sort of whacktastic mentality seems to be a thing amongst some. It's scary and should trigger some sort of psychiatric evaluation.

Whackerism is a disease.

Good ol' Jeremy. Haven't received any updates on him in a while. I wonder if he's off serving as a top secret under water commando doing HALO jumps from his top secret stealth jet in Ukraine, single handedly smiting Russian forces, destroying bridges and rescuing hostages on Motor 1?

Nah, he's just probably sitting in jail in a small town somewhere for harassing them just like he always did.

Jeremy Dewitte was released a month ago or so is currently doing some "high-risk" probation with a GPS ankle monitor, strict curfew and other requirements with his new best friend, the probation officer. But last I heard he has people and companies suing him, credit card fraud, IRS fraud etc. His impersonation bust was only the beginning of his troubles

Anyways check this out. I googled this guys name and surprise surprise this isn't his first rodeo
BCSO slaps swatting suspect with new charges
"after learning from investigators in Pennsylvania that Jones might have been involved in as many as 40 similar hoaxes, a practice known as “swatting” because police often respond with SWAT teams."

I got to wonder if he was listening to online streams while he was terrorizing the country

"Extensive experience working with correction and probation teams on high risk cases. Worked deep cover within penal institution."
