Frequencies with static

Hey i got bct15x scanner and some frequencies are just static and I would go and push the lockout button and they just keep on coming back, I have adjusted the squelch and nothing happens can anyone help me with this?

I have always found that there is an external source close to the scanner that is causing the problem you are describing. Try turning off things around you to see if the static dissapears such as TV, Computers, un-plug any wall-warts, flourescent lights or light bulbs, cordless phones, etc...
If you can eliminate everything in the house then start looking around outside for other electronic sources.

I have done all of that and its still comming up anyway i can lock out the channels for good?

Lock out across scanner restarts is LOCK LOCK in quick succession. If you only do one lock, then it is locked until the next power down/up cycle.

If its a Trunked System they maybe control channels.
