Looking for advice on how to get updates from GEMA if Internet/Cellular/TV all go down.

What is current best Plan B?
NE Georgia area.

Kind Regards,
TRW

I'm going to take a guess that maybe their former TRS or Ga DPS frequencies will be used as a backup. But that's merely a guess

I believe GEMA has a backup plan using Fleettalk in case their main comms go down.

Last big incident that we had that had GEMA involvement, they all had Sonim XP8 phones running PTT. My assumption is they're on Southern Linc along with pretty much every other GA state agency (GSP, DNR, MCCD, GBI, etc.)

That's a guess, many of their P25 sites are still very active.

If you're talking about GEMA, they are currently on the State of Georgia Atlanta Trunked Radio System under the "Fulton County Trunked System" tab. And yes, they use L3Harris but on LMR and LTE, I think.

Where they don't have access to TRS, in northern areas they run P25, but like most agencies in several areas they are SoLinc.
