For those with the hard leather cases, do you feel that it will suitably protect the 500 in the event of a fall?

Also, does anyone know if the Scanner Master nylon case is padded?

Got my hard leather case from Scanner Master today! The case is great. It does come with a clear plastic window now. The quality of the case is also very good, and the scanner fits very nicely in it. I'm very pleased with this purchase. Thank you for your recommendation.
