I have it set in as one seperate scan list that i can toggle on/off at will. I did it this way beacause I also wanted the upper backlight and LED to come on with all hits (it has to be entered in as a scan list to have it that way).
I am useing Win500. I am also running it with only 25-54, 137-174, 406-470, 470-512, 806-869, and 896-1300 enabled. I keep the remaining four bands (108-137, 216-300, 300-406, and 764-806) L/O. I have a Panasonic 900mhz Cordless phone, and everytime i turn the phone on, within 3-seconds it has found it. If i L/O a few more bands it's gets quicker. I am very pleased with the way it performs. It is very flexible, you have full control over what ranges you want Signal Stalker II to search in.
