I'm monitoring this Passport system today for the impending snow event and the NJ Turnpike South Maintenance talk group is very choppy. In fact some of the North users 2 are having audio issues. Just heard several complaints to radio repair.

Unfortunately my computer with the feed was taken out of service.

Joe,
So the new scanners like the Homepatrol cannot montior this system ? since it's not in the sentile database
and there's no way to program it manually ?

Radio Maintenance seemed to have fixed the problem.

The system is a "LTR" Passport radio system in the 217 MHz range. It's used for maintenance, tow trucks, and road service on the Turnpike and Parkway. Refer to posts earlier in this thread.

No scanners can monitor this Passport system, I developed a program and hardware board to monitor several years ago. Pictures should be somewhere in this thread.

The memo posted on RR said it will be slow growth and be done in 2017. Not sure if that timetable changed.

Yes only NJDOT uses the NJICS and 800 MHz NJSP system. Turnpike authority only uses their own system.
